Horrible Parents

quote:

A shocking video has emerged showing a mother hitting her nine-year-old daughter and pulling her hair, allegedly because the little girl had been speaking to her father.

Yes. That one isolated incident is the reason an entire generation is doomed

If you're convinced we're the worst generation, your old one created us.

Dumbass old people.

Ugh. I know! Shitty parenting did not exist until the Millennials became parents. Just fricking terrible people all around.

This one terrible parent proves that 75 million people are or will be terrible parents as well. It's indisputable!

No, but parents using children as leverage in relationships is becoming a very common thing. Imagine how this little girl will behave in her relationships with people later in life.

Yes, this one person's poor parenting, amidst tens of millions of people born between 1984 and 1996, is without question proof that all people born within that time frame and their children (current or future) are doomed.

Yes, and it only occurs by parents who currently are within the age range of 18-30.

I'm impressed that there's a father in the picture at all. This is progress.

The parenting is almost as bad as your threads.

If we're painting entire generations due to one or two people then I nominate Koresh and McVeigh to represent boomers and Xers.

ETA: Were the 9/11 perps boomers or gen X?

Professor in college attributed it to WW2. He insisted that generation, through no fault of their own, missed out on a lot of important lessons. Since they missed out on it, the couldn't pass it down and the gap gets bigger every generation.
