This turd killed a friend of mine's dog

DEFERRED ADJUDICATION Jury Waived. Defendant arraigned. Defendant warned. Defendant enters plea of guilty before Court and prays that Court withhold adjudication of guilt under Art 42.12 C.C.P. Court finds that the evidence and Defendant's plea substantiates the Defendant's guilt of the offense of cruelty to non-livestock beyond a reasonable doubt as charged in the indictment. Adjudication of guilt Deferred and Defendant placed on probation for 5 years, subject to terms and conditions of probation served on Defendant. Fine: $0. Pay $50 to crime stoppers, perform 180 hrs cs, parenting class, 12 weeks anger mgmt in person, MRT, no alcohol, no pets during time of prob, forfeit all weapon, no weapn or firearm for duration of prob, RUAs, $10,000 to SPCA, no early release.

Divorce, he decided a good way to get at her was to kill her Shih Tzu which was like a family member.

That's messed up. Was there some kind of beef between them that brought this on or was the defendant just a douche bag?
Was late on the keys. Already asked and answered.

I'm not quite understanding what a parenting class has to do with this though.

my dog got shot 9 years ago, almost to the day... cops took over 10 days to show up at my house, knocked on like 4 doors... found out one of the neighbor's dog was shot and killed the same night. case closed. literally did jack shite. your friend should feel fortunate they got this much closure.

I would hire a PI to follow the guy around, he will violate probation probably sooner rather than later, get it on video, judges take a dim view of their sentences being ignored.
