This is what irks me the most about advertising...

Sorry for those of you who work in this industry, but there is certainly a place and a time for advertising. I hate when I click on a video for mass shootings, tragedy, and important information like the ebola epidemic, and a fricking ad for best buy or some shite shows up.
For instance, on ESPN, there was a video about Mike Riley addressing his players for the first time after the death of their punter...and I have to watch 30 seconds of a best buy commercial BEFORE the Mike Riley video...
"THIS TRAGIC NEWS BROUGHT TO YOU BY......"
"HERBAL ESSENCES SHAMPOO!"
"Jeepers, my hair is really all brittle from all of this tragic mass shooting news! Well try Herbal essences grieving conditioner to revitalize that tragic downer hair!"
ESPN

If you want on-demand content there has to be a reason for them supplying it to you, it's really no different than having commercial breaks on CNN if you were watching the story.
