More like a hero. If we had a few hundred people like him in every city crime would be cut in half within a month and America would be way better off and that is a FACT!

A black guy sucker punched a white guy and other blacks joined in? I must be living in Bizzaro World, this sort of thing never happens.

Al Bundy said it best.

"Let's rock,"

I also wonder why the dude just sat there and took it. He was neither small nor elderly. Of the two choices, fight or flight, he did neither.

Part of society is advancing faster than another part of society can possibly comprehend.

He did absolutely nothing to defend himself yet complains that others on the train didn't help him.

He might have been scared. Some people are afraid to fight back because they fear they might make it worse.

Personally, I don't think I could just sit there and watch a guy get jumped by some savages.

Every grown person on that train should have intervened!!!!!!

if it takes a village to raise a child, then it takes the same village to correct such inappropriate behavior.

it's a sad world we live in, and it's going down the shitter as we speak.

Why are posters dying to tell us all of their racist thoughts? I've always found that to be odd.

Well, these people do these things in public because they think they can get away with it and that people are too weak and scared to intervene. What they are doing is an intimidation tactic that relies on fear. If people start fighting back, it's probably less likely these tactics will be employed in the future.

Fight or Flight are not the only reactions, fear paralyzation is just as common. In combat one of the most common reactions by soldiers caught in an ambush is to do nothing. The guy was attacked by three people, it was quick and he put his hands up to defend himself.

Personally, I thought he was smart to protect his head.

I like how there's no discussion about whether or not the guy was targeted for being white.

It was random, they say.

5 pages and not one person pointed out that this dude in the red shirt hits like a girl... And that's probably an insult to girls.

First help the person being attacked and then once the attack is over you call 911. You should know that by the 3rd grade.

The victim probably made the best decision in that situation. The train was in the process of stopping. They likely weren't going to stick around once the doors opened. Had he had tried to fight back it could have been A LOT worse.
