Nashville guy throw catfish onto ice in Pittsburgh
The reasoning. No wonder this is the world we live in.

quote:
In an interview Tuesday with 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, Waddell described all that went into the catfish toss: -- He paid $350 for a pair of upper-level tickets to the game, then bought "an entirely too big" catfish at a Tennessee market. He said his wife was "tentatively OK with it." -- He sprayed it down with Old Spice cologne and threw it into a cooler for the trip to Pittsburgh. -- On Monday night, before Game 1, he filleted the fish at a relative's house, cut out half its spine, and then ran it over with his truck in an attempt to better conceal it. -- He stashed the fish over his underwear, then under a pair of compression shorts and baggy shorts. -- He entered the arena, then staked out a lower-bowl section where he could heave the catfish over the glass. Sure enough, during a stoppage of play, Waddell made the move.

Nothing wrong with throwing a fish on the ice

He's a hero in Nashville.
Its our tradition to throw catfish on the ice before/during Preds games. Taylor Lewan (Titans OT) did it last home game.
The Pittsburgh fish markets refused to sell catfish to anyone with a Tennessee drivers license during the Stanley Cup to stop our fans from doing this on their ice.

I admire this guy's enthusiasm and creativity.

Also, its a hockey tradition, with different variations, to throw seafood on ice.
Preds do catfish. I sat a couple rows behind a guy that did it a few years ago. Had use plastic wrap to strap it around his midsection, which is what most people do. They don't even get thrown out of the arena
Google Taylor Lewan catfish...his toss is on instagram.

I mean, it was pretty funny for Preds fans. People are rabid up here for their hockey.
Thank god his charges got dropped. It was absurd what they charged him with.

Ran a fish over with his car and stuffed it in his underwear?
Yes. That's totally normal

That part is weird AF.
Usually its a fully intact fresh fish, not a 3 day old fish run over by a car. This guy is probably a bit looney tunes

This is the weird gross one the guy threw out in Pitt:
