well, both UA and AU claim NCs that they didn't really win, so they have a history

For a family event, the Mardi Gras in Mobile is a lot of fun, especially if you have small children. I would never take my grandchildren to NO. Way too dangerous and filthy. As for Alabama as a state, it is fine but their gloating fans like that Turdburglar clown make me despise them.

Mardi gras started in Mobile. Nothing you ever say will change that.

First American football game was between Rutgers and Princeton. Not exactly who you think of now when you think of American football today. Just like you don't think of Mobile when you think of Mardi Gras.

The pagans would like a word to talk about religious observances related to the vernal equinox, some of them even starting with a blood sacrifice on Friday and ending in a joyous celebration after three days.

I live in Lower AL, driving to Nola tonight for Mardi Gras.

Carnival existed essentially everywhere there were Catholic settlements, it didn't start in Mobile unless they are also claiming Christianity started there.

Based on all the other bullshite claims those people in Alabama make...it shouldn’t surprise anyone if they did

First Pro Football Game was in Rock Island. You want to go there or Superdome?

I was in Mobile last Saturday Night. Parade was like a Northshore Parade

Excatly. When people think of New Orleans, they think of crime and Mardi Gras. When they think of Mobile, they think about a tunnel.

Uh I'm on my way to mobile from laffy. Mobile Mardi gras is superior to Louisiana.
