diladud IV is amazing
You're damn right it is. My wife told me when I first woke up after surgery there was a nurse in there with me and I looked up at her smiling from ear to ear and told her "I had one goal today and that was to wake up. And I did it!". I'd look away for a second then look back at her and I'd say the same exact thing again just like this was the first time I'd seen her. This apparently went on for quite a while. And to her credit, she showed amazing bedside manner in that every time I'd tell her this, she'd act just as happy and surprised as I was.

I kicked all that though, it was real bad a few years ago with me, I have been 100% clean for 2 1/2 years now, and that was after 2 years of the real bad stuff
Glad to hear you kicked it. To be honest, this is the second time they prescribed oxy to me and I've been paranoid of taking too much of it due to the risk of becoming addicted.

Dope was everywhere when I was young it seemed. Went to LSU and it was all pills. Katrina sent back to BR for a short time and that's when I saw the change, all the BR people that use to spend their checks on crazy expensive pills were wanting me to hook them up with dope from the city... and boom 10 years later SLa from Slidell to Houma ro BR is flooded with heroin addicts.

what do you mean "first heart surgery"?? You had multiple heart surgeries?
Counting this last one, I'm at three since November.

Well I had jimmy johns.
But that seems unimportant given the heroin overdose discussion.

I was hooked on whipits for about 5 years before I hit rock bottom....I finally got help and I've been whipit free for about 10 years.
I cant even have Whip Cream on my Strawberries because the doctors are afraid of a relapse.

From what I've heard it all starts with pain pills. Doctors prescribe them after an injury or surgery and people don't take them as directed and become addicted. Once the prescription runs out, they're sitting there with an addiction to feed. That's when they turn first illegal pills and then when money gets tight they turn to heroin.

Well, I'm actually hoping that I've stopped at t3 to be perfectly honest.

Suboxone probably saves my life along with the legal ramifications of getting arrested. But neither one alone was able to curb my insatiable appetite.
