they gave my wife dilauded coming out of surgery, and 3 doses of 10's and she was still in pain....i was jealous

This reminded me of something.
This was about 12-15 years ago, but I was in a wreck. This girl failed to yield and hit the front drivers side part of my van and knocked me into a utility pole. I had a mild concussion and a few scratches on me, but my van was destroyed. My boss and some other people from work came to the hospital and when they saw what the van was like, they were expecting me to be in bad shape, but I wanted to go back to work that day, but it was close to the weekend and the doctored told me to take it easy the next few days and I could go back Monday..
Anyway, someone asked one of my friends if I was okay and he told them "he will be okay, but the bad thing is he will never walk again" and that person was like "are you serious? It was that bad?" and he told them "considering he couldn't walk before the wreck, its not that bad at all" and that person said "that right huh?"

For the first few days after my first heart surgery I was on a dilauded drip. Between naturally being surprised and excited to have survived the surgery and the euphoric effects of the dilauded, I was in the best mood of my life.

DAMN.... i hurt myself accidentally on a reg basis but to come out of that with minor injuries is tough......and i was an army ranger for 10 yrs!

I'm in therapy twice a month (went for 2 years every week) and I left my hometown due to connections, hit rock bottom before that. God's grace is the only reason I'm here now talking to you all. I went cold turkey
