That was sexually charged, high energy entertainment. I couldn't tell you a damn song they sung, but those gals are sexy and can dance/move/shake the $maker. By that low standard, it was a quality show.

The Super Bowl halftime show is the zenith of Satanic symbolism in American pop culture.
It’s so sad seeing kids exposed to this sort of garbage. Their mindless parents, who are too ignorant to be upset, say things like, “Who doesn’t like Shakira?” Or, “It has plenty of tits and arse. So, I don’t care what I just saw or why I should be repulsed.”

LOL. JL was a definite to play the stripper role on the heels of her stripper movie Hustlers. She put a ton of pole work in for that movie and she probably jumped at the chance to show it in the halftime show.

You know.. I can remember being exposed to stuff that wasn't "appropriate for kids" when I was young. I remember watching "rated R" movies with cussing and some boob showing.. And my parents or older siblings would put their hands over my eyes but it was too late because I already saw it the second they showed it.. But I was also taught what was right and wrong.
I knew better to not go around cussing because my parents taught me that's not what you do.
Look, I am not a parent so I have no place to tell parents what is best for their kids, but I remember the worst kids were the ones whose parents hid everything from them. DIdn't want to expose them to things.. These were usually the "religious" types.
There are people on social networks saying they had to make their kids leave the room..
Knowing who was going to perform what the hell did you expect? At no point did I think "OMG I can't believe this!". Shakira was actually pretty good.
She is from Colombia, did you know she taught herself English so that she could write and sing in English? She is an extremely ambitious person who worked hard to become as big as she had become. That is something that seems like your kids could be inspired by..
