The 9 speed has notably had quite a few issues on the earlier models, but I got a later build to help avoid that. About to hit 8k miles and no issues thus far.

And since we're showing off...

My exact car, minus the ADII, So this sits a little lower than mine

I agree, and that was essentially the role of the Commander.

The current Jeep lineup is very odd as it has 3 SUVs filling a similar niche. The Renegade further muddies the water. However, with the Patriot and Compass being phased out it makes things less confusing.

I would check and see if there is an towing option (Like the Range Rover has) - when you get out on the highway the tow truck follows around 1/4 mile behind.

The commander was gigantic though, wasn't it?

If they took the Patriot and gave it the size and V6 of the current Cherokee, I'd buy it without hesitation. Hell, I almost still got the Patriot, but couldn't get over its terrible acceleration.
I've always hated the Compass though.

Oh yea, a twin engine boat though...I'd probably want a full sized. The weight of a party barge would be no problem.

tows 6,000 pounds.

I towed a trailer with a 745il on it for 90 miles and it drove smooth and stopped well.

It's a strong engine in that little truck.
