If you want great food/drinks hit up Parish, Genusas, Planters which is the second story of Cotton has a balcony over the Ouachita river. Lunch spots Not Just Pie or Geno's are always my go to.

If you are into any type of physical activies or pickleball you can get a guest pass at the Monroe Athletic Club (MAC) and get into a game easy or hit up the gym when you have time.

Chennault Museum is actually a cool spot. Beidenharn Museum's gardens are popping tf off right now too.

Seriously. If you have a little time to kill in the late evening take a ride down Smith Street in Bawcomville and some of those side streets. There are no building codes so it’s trailer upon trailer and no garbage pickup so everyone burns their trash in barrels right outside

A lot of DWIs so many can’t drive. They walk or ride bikes up and down the street to the liquor store The whites and blacks are all living in harmony there

Same guy that owns the Fieldhouse and Trap’s has bought the MAC (with some other investors). I believe they are doing big renovations, which it supposedly really needed. But I haven’t been in there in 15+ years.

Yeah Joey and another couple bought it. Built a ton of new pickle courts. Completely gutted the pool are almost done building the new one. Are in the process of building a full restaurant on site. Renovating everything. It will be nice as hell when finished.

Get a fishing trip to Bussy Brake. I’m sure you can find a guide. Go catch a double digit largemouth.

Last time I drove by there were random limos parked out front and they didn’t seem to be in use.

Why is every response to any question about what to do anywhere “ shoot yourself in a dark alley” or “leave immediately”
The whole bitter cynical schtick is so tiresome and unfunny
