Flying Tiger Museum is interesting.

Coke & Bible Museums if you are grasping for activity.

Chenault aviation museum is good for history buffs.

Biedenharn gardens are nice.

If it wasn’t so hot I would say to go walk the trails at Black Bayou.

Dinner:
Waterfront
Warehouse

Bar:
New rooftop bar at hotel Monroe (haven’t been yet).

For a dive type sports bar I like Daq’s

I got a lot more but that should be a start.

While he is at it, maybe he could stop by Parkview Apartments. I’ve heard things get lively this time of year.

On a serious note, you could also go walk around Forsythe park in the morning before it gets hot. It’s actually in a decent part of town.
