I'm gonna say Spring.
Its better than Winter, but it doesn't even come close to Fall in any way shape or form. All I think about is seasonal allergies, spring cleaning, and a lull in the sports I love. The water is still too cold to swim most places.

It used to be a poor person food. They gave it to prisoners.
Its good because you drown it in butter and cooked properly it can be tender, like in a bisque. But I agree. The price of lobster is so absurd.
