Although teen pregnancy is down, it seems like it is more acceptable today. When I was in HS in the mid 90s, if someone got knocked up in HS, it was a big deal and kind of frowned upon, but I see people giving baby showers and shite for teenagers who get pregnant.
People eating with their hats on.. I see people eating with their hat on all the time, the one time I went to the table with a hat on, my dad almost killed me.
This isn't something that is "taken to the woodshed" material, but its a change.. The relationships parents have with their kids are different today. It seems like the relationships with parents and kids are more friendship type relationships than parent/child relationships.

When I was a kid, we didn't openly disrespect our parents or other adults in public. Period. We did a lot of stupid shite when we thought our parents wouldn't find out about it, though...

Got paddled in elementary school, told my dad it didn't hurt. Next day my dad brings me to school told the principal what I said so he made it then when I got home i got it again. Miss you dad
