I just found out word has spread around town, so I can talk. We actually had another hospital call up asking about it.
We had a patient come in showing signs of ebola. I was literally standing at the doors of the ER when the patient was wheeled in along with all the EMT workers that was handling them. All are in isolation now. Patient has been sick for and showing symptoms for a few days, patient has also spent considerable time with people who recently traveled from Africa.
We see this crap on the news constantly now. When it walks in and is only a few feet away from you, it's pretty fricking scary. I'm sure the media will be on this soon. I'm just hoping it turns out to be nothing.

You had to wait a whole ten minutes. How hard was that for you?

So you're the first person on TD to get Ebola.
For your bullshite behaviour in this thread I hope you don't get it. But that you get something like herpes.
I'm sure DSTRYRsg can hook you up with that.

Can you come up to the HR office? We need to speak with you.
On second thought, we can do this over the phone

It was about 3 hours in all.
I didn't start to freak out until I saw people walking around in hazmat suits, a Rad Tech freaked the frick out because he was having to suit up and go shoot xray on the patient, CDC blowing the phones up, officials from the state coming in.
They responded very fast from the first phone call. They aren't taking this lightly and are all over it.
When things go from chill and relaxed to as tense at it is right now and everything going on, it will freak out most people.
It can be a very serious situation, we just don't know at this time.

If I could trust people here, I would. However, there's some real counts on this board. I'll wait for an official press release then link it and tell what I saw.
We ALL already know it was Ebola because you told us in the OP! Just tell us the damn story!
