Should MLK blvd be banned since he was serial cheater and communist?
Just trying to see what values you apply here.

I will? I’m glad you’re here to tell me what I believe in. Roger has been slipping in his responsibilities in that department.

Lee was a traitor, and he doesn't deserve statues in public places.
Lee's primary allegiance being to his home state of Virginia was in-line with the views of almost every Founding Father and the two Presidents prior to Abraham Lincoln, both of whom were Yankees. The Union's vision of a centralized American state with a powerful federal government was more treasonous to the principles upon which our country was founded than anything Lee ever did.

He's been informed of this multiple times but lacks the capacity to understand it.

You and I probably have nothing in common, and we wouldn't agree on much, but these clowns think we're the same person.
So much anger.

You talk out of your arse, learn some history. You just want to see the world burn. What a prick.

Yeah, he was a cheater, but who thinks he was a communist? The FBI?
They thought everybody was a communist back then.
MLK's greatest legacy was about healing a country and bringing people together.
Lee, however much of a "good" slave owner he was - his greatest legacy was to help break a country in half.
See the difference?

I mean, I'm married, but you got me on the first part.
I'm a sucker for low-hanging fruit.

Yeah, and tell me about the inner city, where I grew up?
ETA: If the inner city means gangs, drugs, prostitutes and death rates like Chicago...

And if we hadn't cast aside that loose confederation and written the constitution, thereby granting more power to a central government, the country would not have stayed independent long enough to even have a civil war.

The construction of that statue was an attempt to rewrite history in and of itself.
Instead of making blanket statements why not back up your statements with facts?

Like they do with White supremacy today?

You're incapable of understanding the issue.
Most of our leaders loyalty was to State first, then union up until the civil war. You're making a separate argument.
