New warrant portrays Brayanta Ketchens' slaying as a retaliatory killing
"Police on July 10 obtained an arrest warrant for Anderson on a count of attempted second-degree murder in Dalton Stone's shooting.
On July 14, a deputy in Gulf Breeze, Florida, pulled Anderson over after spotting him driving 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. The deputy learned during the stop that Anderson was wanted on the attempted murder warrant and arrested him.
Authorities booked Anderson into the New Orleans jail about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday. He remained behind bars Wednesday evening in lieu of $10,000 bail."
What idiot Judge gave this guy a $10k bail amount? Might as well give him a ticket for attempted 2nd degree murder

The story was originally incorrect and the OP posted parts that are kind of misleading. Not that I care, but it makes it look like he killed the girl.
He's booked on an attempt murder. Not of her, but because he shot at a guy who had punched her last month.. Which is believed to have led to her killing in retaliation.

Low, but I don't think that is an abnormal bail for the crime.
