When I moved into my first house, my dad gave me a Snapper lawn mower that was about 2 years older than I was. Last night before all the rain, it took one pull to get her started up for the first time since fall. This thing is solid and runs so well I have a feeling it'll last another decade.
What do you have at your house that could likely out-live or out perform most newer and cheaper versions on the market today?

I have one in my office that is a monster and yeah I probably would not want to try and stop it with my finger.

Last summer, our warehouse bought several of the large fans from Lowes. They were expensive as hell and they don't move air for shite.

I've got an old microwave with the knob you turn to set the time. It gets the popcorn perfect every time and, the ultimate test, in two minutes can easily heat up two Hot Pockets at the same time to the perfect temperature and not have that molten hot cheese on the ends and colder than a bucket of penguin shite in the middle that you get with these fancy new models with the buttons and the clock.

Ironic - I just got a 20 year old Snapper rear engine rider from a relative that is selling her house and moving in with family. It runs like a champ.
Rice cookers. Those old chicken shite green rice cookers last forever.
