I thought vaccinated people couldn't catch COVID? I mean, that's what a "vaccine" is for, right?
No. The vaccine is to minimize the virus' impact if you get it. It can't prevent live virus from landing on your mucosal membranes and replicating. There is still a bit of a lag with your immune system.

Well, from the pic we can see that he was fat and she is fat. So, more than likely her mother was also fat.

Virus is gonna Virus.
It was built to do this by the Chinese.
If our country does not care enough to go after China, or even close the southern border, guess what they dont care about you......So why trust someone with an unapproved vaccine that has made it clear they do not care about you?
85 year old, unhealthy people die....PERIOD.

It is sad. It really, really is. But perhaps one of the most alarming things to come out of this whole episode is many people’s COMPLETE lack of perspective. That is 3, THREE, people in a state of nearly 22 million

That doesn't sound like a "vaccine" to me. At least not by the CDC's definition.

quote:

Immunity: Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.

Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.

Vaccination: The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.

Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation.

There's nothing in there about "minimizing the virus' impact", only "protected" and "immunity".

Are we changing the definition of the word " vaccine" now?

If everyone stays home how will get you food for you and electricity for your home?

No, it is no change in definition. It is a vaccine and that lag happens with all vaccines. Think about it, you can come in contact with a flu virion and it will begin replicating until your immune system responds up its antibody production to that specific strain.

If you truly cared about us you would make this poor kid leave his home to deliver your groceries

Don't accept the delivery boy in even after you lysol him. Some germs require 30 minutes of lysol and the delivery people never really let me spray their pits and folds.

I've never had luck with flu shots. I've always gotten sick from them.

I get the lag-time aspect, but "your symptoms won't be as severe for as long if/when you get it again" (my interpretation) does not seem to fit the definition of a true vaccine.

Even when presented with cdc’s own definitions they still “well, the vaccines were never going to be 100%, there ALWAYS was lag, and not everyone blah blah”

Its clear as day what you presented. Some folks dont care to know the truth and have an agenda

Are any vaccines 100%? No. Some vaccinated people, regardless of vaccine, get infected.

For example, from the NHS website...
quote:

MMR vaccine...around 88% of people will be protected against mumps; People who are vaccinated against mumps, but still catch it, are less likely to have serious complications or be admitted to hospital
