an event that happens by chance or that is without apparent or deliberate cause.

The apparent cause is blowing the load. Etc etc. so it’s not without cause so not an accident t.

A 1% chance of ever having a kid is a lot different math than a 1% chance of having a kid this month

I am debating the argument the OP and others have made that: quote: There's No Such Thing As An Accidental Pregnancy

Gotcha. I’ll just take a step back then.

The actualy pregnancy was without deliberate cause......

Hence why the actual dictionary uses this as their example sentence

You arent grasping what 1% means

They are both greater than 0%.

So for the sake of this thread, they are essentially the same.

Yes, but getting in a car isn't the cause of the car wreck.

True.

However, the deliberate act in your example IS getting in a car and driving it.

Just like blowing a load inside is a deliberate act.

And blowing your load inside isnt the cause of pregnancy

Blowing your load leads to a healthy sperm reaching a dropped egg that is then fertilized

Getting in your car leads to you driving it which leads to you getting hit

And both of those deliberate acts then lead to a something that wasnt deliberate, aka an accident

aka why the dictioanry uses it as its example

You are now arguing against the dictionary on a word they defined. I just want you to understand that

So you are making an argument that blowing a load inside a woman is not a deliberate act that can cause pregnancy?

It's a really terrible example.

They should go with the car wreck example in the next edition.
