No idea if true, but I guess they were out of reviews and the next pitch the ump gifted him a strike that was far outside.

The ump was 4 for 4 on the ABS, so he gifted Verlander a pitch knowing they couldn't challenge. He had a really good day.

God forbid people feel the least bit of envy for a multi-millionaire who played a game for a living while married to a bikini supermodel who loves him and has born him multiple healthy children who appreciate him and his contributions. It sure would be awful for people to appreciate that guy having a nice moment with his family at his retirement.

I get it, she seems like a nice girl and he has a couple of healthy kids.
It's just hilarious that I've heard hundreds of guys over the years say how lucky he is to have her just because she's hot (or used to be anyway).
Yet I've never heard 1 person say how lucky she is to have him.
