Usually get heads up on these things on my phone quickly but not this time with one right by my house. What's up with that?

It was heading Southwest towards Big Lake last report I saw. Hope everyone is safe

I love across the street. Whatever it was, was rain wrapped. It appeared to cross lake street just to the south of me.

There was nothing on radar that screamed tornado. If you saw a tornado you should be reporting it to the NWS or your local news of choice, not the OT.

I think what I was seeing was just a lot of rain. There was a slight rumble, but there was a lot of lightning. Judging by my ditches, at least an inch of rain in a short period of time.

It was confirmed to be a tornado but I see people saying it dissipated quickly after touchdown

Glad you're safe

I am not far from you and I walked outside to see if I could see anything but I have a ton of large oak trees blocking my view that direction

Oh so you're right there on Lake. I thought you might be on Gauthier by the corner store or something

One of those that came and went without the radar even seeing it. Probably lasted a couple minutes and occured between radar updates.

At least it wasn't a sigtor on the ground for 15-20 minutes, hitting a town, looking like this while unwarned:

Some you literally can't help. Others you frick up so badly that you're publicly shamed.

I see the NWS is now on Facebook with a video of it rotating before formation and are now calling it a landspout
