It’s horrible for sure
One thing that could go a long way to attracting quality insurers to the state is to enact better building codes similar to what they have in other coastal states.
That way, damage from storms can be mitigated.

If the levees didn’t bust with the surge we wouldn’t even talk about Katrina. But MS gulf coast got absolutely hammered.

and you can go frick yourself with a cactus unlike you, i pay taxes, and thats just my tax money that they gave back to me how much insurance money did you refuse for your hurricane damage, did you tell your insurance company you didnt want to file a claim to fix your house and instead you will go sleep in your car? and thats if you even have a house are you happy with your pedo president you voted for?
I didn’t have to file a claim this time. You are correct, I don’t own a house. I own two. One on the coast and then one by where I work about 3 hours away. When I did have to get my roof replaced on my second house, I paid my deductible. Also, I didn’t have to sleep in my car because I’m not a complete and total moron and know that I have a good policy that pays for me to stay somewhere else if my house is damaged and I can’t stay in it. I’m not a dumbass who gets on a website bragging about how the government pays me out and I saved money because I’m too cheap to buy real insurance.
I didn’t know I didn’t pay taxes. The property taxes I paid for both properties went where? I’m pretty sure the corporate entity I own paid a lot of taxes. Like hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes. I guess you are right, technically I didn’t pay taxes but my company did pay taxes for our profits as well as for the payroll taxes on the multiple employees I pay who also pay taxes too. Sorry to ruin your argument you dumb frick.
Also, are you accusing me of voting for Biden because I called you out for being stupid? I made fun of you waiting in line for a government handout and all of the sudden I’m a liberal? Good god, where do you idiots come from? I

I laugh at people who take and take money from the government yet they consider themselves "conservative".
During Gustav, I remember there were these type of people, who barely had any damage.. standing in line to get FEMA money.

Reciprocal exchange insurance” it’s already happening.
I have Sagesure. Collecting on a claim was extremely difficult and you have to fight for it every step of the way. That said, I got most of what was owed and they didnt drop me. Premium did almost double in 2022.

Keep voting for Donelon for Ins Commisioner. He's got Louisiana paying some of the highest auto ins rates, now he's working on the homeowners policies. You get what you voted for.
