There’s definite collusion here. Every year there’s always a new reason why crawfish prices are high. Too cold, not cold enough, farmers are sick. Next season it’ll be the farmers are well so they all took vacations during harvest to drive up the price.

I paid $1.99 a pound this past weekend. Medium size pretty crawfish. My farmer is gonna try to make it to Father's day

The docks have been paying the fisherman $1.00 a pound for the past few months. Then the docks are turning around a selling for $2.00 a pound. Prices just started to go back up.
Fisherman are catching a shite load in the spillway and in the marsh.
