Excuses are like ASSHOLES, everybody has one.
When was the last time you tried to make somebodies day better? I try every day. Life is to sweet and short to piss everybody they meet.
Excuses? I am saying that the reason people think the world is not a good place is because they tend to remember the bad things more than good. So they have a certain perception. I think the world is overall good.
And as for as trying to make someone's day better, sure if I can I will. I smile at people, greet people. I will go out of my way to let someone know about something they need to know, if I see it. Maybe I should have worded that a little different.
What I said wasn't meant to be an excuse.

Its true. Shes very nice. Just had my daughters shots last month and had a great time. She has always been there for when my wife needs our kids seen, and had fun laughing my arse off with her.
She was showing me how she dressed up as Doc McStuffins last year halloween - one of my kids was there - and was talking about what she might do this year.
Also, she was showing me pictures of her dog in those outfits that make them look like they are running. It was good shite and yes, my children have the best doctor.

Edit. And you are the only downvote so far in this thread. Go away. Your gifs arent helping anything

You want the truth? 95+% of young black males are good people in a rough situation.
This. People see the "bad black people" in the news and it scares them, but the majority of people, no matter what race they are, are just your average person just trying to make it in life.

And I have a question, why does everything turn into being racist or something?
Because you pointed out that it made you feel good to see a black dude who was well presented and had manners.
You made it about race.

And that is why I started the thread. Between tO-T and the Poli Board, that is like TMZ to the extreme with all of the bad.
Thus the reason to post this encounter.
Then people start getting immediately wet mentioning racist and shite around here.

Um no. I provided details and you assumed I was being racist.

Up vote for your good day. I go OUT my way to try every day to say something to someone to bring a smile to their face if I am in public. And yes, many times, I get the same reply. People really want to connect. ? One just has to take the time.
Fishfighter, thanks for the positive comments, didn't want you to think I didn't see that.

Holy shite, youre lame.
You grew up in a small town didnt you? None of your parents went to college?
Your innocent, local-yokel shtick is kind of cute, though. So you got that going for you at least.

A black dude said “excuse me” and that became a memorable experience? Dude you need to get out more.
That said, your overall point is correct and if that experience proves it for you then

I was in Iraq and 19 dude. I have to other deployments. I have been around the world and states. Ive been through a lot of training, have had lots of diverse friends, have witnessed a murder, am married to a brit - whom I have traveled with to other countries. And I am currently a college student earning my education.
I think you need to realize youre not as cute as you think you are.
