The two gas stations at Burnside (HWY 44) & 621 in Gonzales

I've heard from multiple law enforcement members to avoid these two like the plague but they REFUSE to tell me why. They say I just have to trust them.
Now I've been to these in the past with no issues at all but my curiosity is obviously through the roof as to what's wrong with them. Anyone know the story here?

If there is a known issue there, I doubt they would just tell some members of law enforcement to tell their friends don't go there.. But don't tell them why.

What do you mean avoid, I've seen cops eating at the Chevron and buying gas from both. I've also never heard of anyone actively avoiding those two either.
