Instead of bringing chauffeur-driven black taxis straight to your location, Private Jet allows flyers to track private jets en-route to private airports, detail itineraries, shop fares and even adjust in-flight cuisine, according to Petrossov. As he sees it, the ability to receive push notifications, and book private flights across America at rates comparable to business class fares empowers the consumer.

ok so the more i read the more i learn. YC in br and YC in nola 2 diff companies. YC in baton rouge does not charge per person. the fare is the same for 1 person as it is for 4 ppl. Spliting fare in cab even easier just tell friends to divy up some $ and boom now you have everyone paying equal cost. The biggest trash talkers seem to be the most uneducated on the matter ppl. I see so many complaints on here about how yellow cab sucks and what not yet its 100% our fault. Like i have said many of times we spend more time than we need because of missed calls when we show up.

I bet if any of those ppl drove a cab and seen first hand how it works and how often you get screwed their op would change about the service.

Back to one comment on here about a cust time not important. Correct me if I'm wrong but your saying his time in more important than a cab drivers time chasing ppl that have left and didn't let YC know. If YC knew he wasn't there that driver could have been on the way to get the next person. But it was our fault that your waiting. Seems to me like that person caused your delay in getting picked up.

it isnt a missed call when I wait for 2 hours and then get another ride. YOUR SERVICE SUCKS.

go frick yourself. Your job is to provide a service. YOUR SERVICE SUCKS.

Now you're all butthurt because here comes a company to provide a GOOD service at a FAIR price. So who do you blame? The very same customers you rely onto exist.

. But it was our fault that your waiting

I'm not sure you know how to read.

I don't care what excuse you have, if the service SUCKS, the service SUCKS. End of story. Time for a better company to come along and make a better business plan with better service for the customers

That's the beauty of capitalism.

You're wrong. If I'm told you will be here in 15 minutes and still waiting an hour after. It's your fault.

I waited to be served at a restaurant for 30 minutes at a table before. Got some drinks, and it was another 30 minutes before the waitress came back

I walked out. I guess it's my fault.

with regards to your analogy what did the cab provide me with? I was obviously served at the restaurant.

ETA: I would have compared to waiting on a table at a restaurant. Where I would absolutely leave if I was not seated in a realistic time frame

Why do cab drivers need to be tipped?

Other than for this guy to come get you when you call? I hope to never be a "regular" for any cab company.

Not easier then splitting it up on an app. First, you don't need cash. Second, the app makes it much easier.

The biggest trash talkers are the ones who use these services on a daily to weekly basis.

I'll probably spend over $1,000 this year on taxi services. Yellow Cab will get $0 from here on out.

I see so many complaints on here about how yellow cab sucks and what not yet its 100% our fault.

That whole responsibility issue again.

Like i have said many of times we spend more time than we need because of missed calls when we show up.

You've already admitted that tips help determine whether you show up or not. You blamed the customer for having to wait over an hour.

quote:

I bet if any of those ppl drove a cab and seen first hand how it works and how often you get screwed their op would change about the service.

Boo Hoo. You provide a service to me. Uber does it better. Get a different job if it is so terrible.

quote:

Correct me if I'm wrong but your saying his time in more important than a cab drivers time chasing ppl that have left and didn't let YC know.

Absolutely. He is the CUSTOMER. You provide a SERVICE. His time is 100% more important than yours as you are providing him said service.

So when you say 15 minutes and take an hour +, that is on you. He owes you nothing after that long of a wait. You have failed to provide the service in a reasonable amount of time.

quote:

If YC knew he wasn't there that driver could have been on the way to get the next person.

Or if they would just show up in a reasonable time.

quote:

But it was our fault that your waiting.

That whole providing a service thing again.

quote:

Seems to me like that person caused your delay in getting picked up.

Which is why your company is complete shite compared to Uber and Lyft

If only y'all had a program that worked with my phone that showed where the driver was and their time of arrival.

Exactly. The fact that Uber allows you to see exactly where your driver is puts it leaps and bounds above YC. I could just have my phone open in the bar watching for when he gets close. That is a total game changer.

Instead of spending all this money trying to keep Uber out, YC should invest in a workable app that allows you to track your cabbie.

Yea, one that simply allows you to request a driver. So it saves you a phone call to the dispatcher.
