I am guessing the turnover on drivers for uber is pretty high.

Going from downtown I had one driver charge me just at $20 but I tipped him up to $25 I believe.

Oh okay, I can see that.

Yeah, the distance is one of the biggest reasons we avoid going downtown if staying at Jones' house.

From our regular bars, $6-$11 is the norm.

Dude I looked at your bill and without the stupid promotion that you I guess cant see your bill was over $5.00 in fact it was 25% discount for the 2 week promo they are running. That is why I left it alone.

So it was cheaper than $5?

I've been using uber for longer than 2 weeks. They're always running promotions.

So if it is less than $5, it isn't a $5 minimum

That also includes the tip.......................................................

Yep, part of the model. People do it for a summer, or a semester, etc.

Yea. One of my best friends works happy hour at Hueys so I'll meet him down there pretty often. He won't go out unless its to Hueys so if I want to see him I go downtown...

I'd rather never go out down there, but it has become a relatively regular practice of mine.

0.25 for each person you're splitting with. Still not that big a deal.

The promo isn't 2 weeks. It's a summer long promotion.

I generally call for a cab around 1:15 to ensure I'll get one when everyone else is frantically trying to get one.. but a while back, I completely forgot and had to call at 2am like the tards do.

My cab never came, so Jones and I walked FOREVER home. When we were getting close to home, some random chick and her bf pulled over on Lee and brought us the rest of the way.

I was so happy

I didn't realize the drivers rate the passengers as well until I passed out in the back of one of the cars and the driver told me he was going to still give me a good rating.

I use to walk from Tigerland back to the dorms... That was a trek, but I always liked doing it, unless I could get a ride, obviously.

I have a $30 ride credit on my account. Maybe the influx of students will make it worthwhile for the consumer as they have a lower required income. Somebody said they got picked up in a F250 the other day. How that guy is making any money I have no idea.

On my profile can I see my rating or do only the drivers see my rating? Not sure if I'm just not looking in right spot or just doesn't show my rating.

You can't see your rating. Not sure how it works really. I am guessing the drivers can filter who they see by rating?
