Function over aesthetics The design for mass market appeal will come later.

I am on the fence how the computer tablet thing is so far out from the dash/console.

I'm sure it's a safer design. Just looks kind of weird. Like it was added on aftermarket.

If you want to survive a biological attack, you might want to look into buying a Tesla. The company just officially unveiled the Model X, and Elon Musk shared a rather unexpected feature during the unveiling: a "bioweapon defense mode" button.

I bet a ton of hypochondriacs buy this thing just for the air filter. They'll leave it in bioweapon mode all the time.

Can anyone over 6 feet fit in the 3rd row of a Suburban? Or an Excursion? It's meant for kids, it's not a God damn church van.

Even the 2nd row looks tight.

That's the result of some super insular design thoughts. If Musk's ultimate goal is to disrupt the automotive industry, bring on the advent of the electric car and save the environment from this perspective, then he had to do a better job with the design of this car.

It's wayyyyyy too over the top from a contemporary, minimalist, sleek perspective. It's too Wachowski Brothers and not enough Judd Apatow if that makes sense.

He spent a lot of time-and invested a ton of money-in order to miss the mark this badly IMO...
