and ... NO F/A 18 squadron has/had call sign of Dusty....
and neither are fighter or strike fighter squadron bird number 2 digit and... if and when they are... they don't start with a 5.....
still think this is bullshite..... and any military aviator would call a hornet and FA 18 not F18

still remember hearing 4 tomcats get "warning yellow weapons hold.. .I repeat warning yellow weapons hold" the pitch in the voice of every response - was noticeably different than it was on the previous exchanges...... and all the chatter went silent.....

Dude was just telling a story, if a guy checks in on a freq, he’s not going to say “center, this is Dusty five-zero, an F/A-18 hornet,” i it will just be Dusty 50, so give the dude some poetic license

Probably a drone, pretty easy to do, actually harder to not do, so your buddies can get off a few shots
