If I'm Amazon I'd buy up Boston Dynamics or just start buying off their talent. I see machines like that and I think of a fully automated order fulfillment/warehousing operation, which would increase efficiency and finally allow them to totally minimize the General Labor line item on their budgets.

it seems like the robot creators at Boston Dynamics finally found a way to improve on humanity’s primitive two-legged design: By adding a pair of wheels to their new self-balancing robot

Brah, some nerds built this robot hitchhiker, and sent it thousands of miles. It hitchhiked across Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands. They decided "hey, let's send it to America".

The robot that hiked 3 countries made it 300 miles into the US and got beheaded in Philly.

frick your robot

ETA: damn, I already got beat on this story.
