So you’re in agreement with the fricking article...

It's an eventuality. Like switching from oil to another energy source. Not as the OP suggested. This boom is just starting baby

I did, just not on the trashy blue collar side.

Someone working to provide for their family is not trashy at all. But ragging on people for it is pretty fricking trashy.

But, that’s just my opinion. Carry on, douche.

Because the article's argument is based on shite that is 10-15 years down the road?

Well not really. There's been a 21% decrease in the last 4 years so I think it's currently happening. You can dispute the facts all you want, but that doesn't change them.

The center was manned by about 80 people monitoring 40 rigs before the 2014 oil bust. Today, roughly a dozen people monitor the company’s 21 active rigs.

I don't necessarily disagree, it's just being manned by 4/5 of the people as the last one.

How about y'all compromise,

There will 100% be more automation going forward, AND anyone comparing 2014 job numbers to 2018 as evidence of anything other than price influence is a fricking idiot.

The point is oil was in a worse spot in 2014 than now and there was MORE jobs.

You don't say? When there were ~1700 rigs as compare to ~900?

No the point is you are an idiot for typing that and have cemented the fact you are a clueless troll.

As you are probably to stupid and or lazy to google, crude was well over $100 on this date in 2014.

The shame is you are not even a good troll
