Was it at Robert McNamara's old house? Perhaps we went to the same fundraiser.

It was not, although I'm sure that one was a good time as well.

It really is a shame. Used to be such a nice neighborhood, then I heard a black family moved in and scared everyone off.

Wait, no I'm not, because it's human nature to want the highest quality of living possible for you and your family

But that's only OK as long as you're not white. Otherwise you should accept mediocrity and pay your higher taxes with thanksgiving.

It feels bizarrely out of a character for a man who proclaimed “We didn’t become the most prosperous country in the world just by rewarding greed,” to settle down on a block where a 4-bedroom home averages about $2.8 million.

Sounds totally in character for an egomaniacal, communist asswipe though.

This.

He is absolutely not going to keep his mouth shut. Democratic former presidents do keep their noses in politics after they leave office but he is going to be the worst offender there is in American history and will be the most annoying former President ever.

Funny how hordes of his supporters criticize the rich but will turn a blind eye to the mansion he is moving into.

DC neighborhood of Kalorama

Is this on the East side?

Are there any restrictions in the HOA about keeping Christmas lights up year round?

Haha I immediately thought the same thing.

Ridiculous. Even if he moved to Anacostia, it would become SUPER gentrified in two strokes of a handlebar mustache.

Most of his neighbors will probably move out when the Obamas move in. Before you know it they'll be over run.

Yeah, he's not going away anytime soon after leaving office. He's got too big of a mouth.

Are they serious? Obama would be slammed for gentrifying... I mean revitalizing an area.

Real Estate Developer: Wow Obama is moving to an inexpensive neighborhood. I am going to buy the whole place up, remove all the current tenets, and sell the area to a bunch of hip white kids.
