It's actually from a previous season...color has been discontinued...why it's likely still on sale.

Why is this a shitty thread? I am telling people my observations. Look, I love The North Face. I am complaining because everybody and their mothers wear them (including me)

My thread is nowhere near as shitty as LSU fans starting threads about firing and killing the best coach in their school's history - Now those are shitty fricking threads... Not this.

Synthetic? Nice. Will serve you much better if you get caught in snow/sleet.

I must have missed the thread about killing Les Miles.

I have a gray north face zip up fleece that I'll probably wear every workday this winter. Love it.

Yeah my husband has one like mine and he's had it for a couple years. He's worn it in the snow up in Flag and during cold, rainy camping trips and it's kept him warm and dried quickly. That's why I got one....I would always steal his when I was cold on camping trips.

Cool FAKE Florida Helmet. Looks kinda like the FAU helmets that almost beat you in the big bad Swamp the other day.

Yeah my husband was the one that pointed out the jacket on sale while we were on vacation, strongly encouraging me to get it. He never encourages me to shop like that....he must have gotten tired of his jacket being swiped.

I got this one on sale for $120(normally around $200) this summer. Have only worn it a couple times but love it so far. Thing is really thin and compact(zips into a basically the size of a small travel pillow) but surprisingly really warm.

Nice score. This summer I bought the gf one for her first trip to the Sierra. Found it at The Backpacker for half off ($99).

Around Colorado, North Face and Columbia are bottom tier coats. I never understood why jackets are such elitist items to you people in the South. Mountain Hardware, Helly Hensen, Spyder are a few brands that are up there in terms of price and quality.

So, what will the next "North Face" type outerwear fad be? Does the company already exist?

The answers Summit Ice. Best Jacket and company around right now:

Lots of people want Saban dead, but he already quit. We can't fire him.

Thanks to this thread, I realize that I am way out of touch. I have a few North Face items, and they have served me well. I don't understand why people are hating on them.

Can someone give me a heads up as to why they are frowned upon?
