Many nights in my college and 20’s I’d do over. But my wife would have never met me, my son would not exist as he is, and I’d probably have an STD.

Not always. Wife's family is a train wreck and she has made it her life's mission to be the opposite of them. She has experienced the damage done when people don't put their marriage and family first so she is even less inclined than the average person to do dumb stuff. Divorce is a basically a slur in our house.
That being said, make sure you have sufficient distance from them so they can't interfere with your life on a regular basis.
