I never really thought girls were icky or had cooties or whatever. I always crushed on them even before it was a physical thing.
I always got the feeling that most little boys pretended to find girls "icky" as a way of dealing with the somewhat confusing feelings of actually liking them in a way they don't understand yet.

My parents had one of those big arse satellites in the 90’s. I found out that satellite T4 was where all the porn channels were at. 12 yr old me kept it on that satellite all the time when I was home alone.
