I saw the Beatles “Love” at the old Mirage not long before Hard Rock bought the hotel. Great show.

What I lament the most is the slow and steady loss of the themed properties. Most if not all new development in Vegas is almost identical. You’d never see The Venetian, Luxor, or Caesars Palace developed today. It’s all just same-ness.

This is everything in America. Buildings look the same, cars look the same, music sounds the same. Uniqueness, creativity and beauty are dying.

First time I ever went to Vegas, I stayed at the Mirage. All because of Vegas Vacation

Step 1: Posts idiotic statement
Step 2: Gets called out for idiotic statement
Step 3: Posts article to support idiotic statement not realizing that the article in no way supports the idiotic statement

Can’t wait to see step 4!

The Mirage was such a cool place when it opened. I watched the birth of Squirt the dolphin there

Is this the new Spank the Monkey?
