COL Bob Efferson of the 926th! They were out of Belle Chasse and he was semi-frequently on the local news in New Orleans.
I think that unit transitioned from A-10s to F-16s a while back, but I'm not positive.

The best way to avoid getting massacred by an A-10 is to not be a shitbag that made really poor life choices that ultimately end up putting you on the nose of an angry Warthog and getting rapidly and violently disassembled by a GAU-8 Avenger. Once you've attracted an A-10's attention, that's pretty much the end of the line for you.
