Nobody going to bring up the last vhs tape? I thought they stopped that in the late 90s when dvds took over.

I was born in 78.. I remember how life changing the internet was. I was at a friends house who had AOL and I was fascinated that you could go in chat rooms and talk with people from all around.
Then the next big change was high speed internet, then wireless (bluetooth). I remember when people started wearing blue tooth ear pieces connected to their cell phones and people were all of a sudden talking and it looked like they were talking to themselves..
I remember getting an ipod from my company after so many safety hours without anything happening.. And it held up to 200 songs. Then I remember having blackberry and the idea I could look at spreadsheets from my phone was insane. Then the iphone came out and that was a game changer. I didn't get one until right before the iphone 3 came out, but yeah.. The 00s in general had some game changers happen.

Wait, this chart is implying that Saddam getting hung was a tragedy?

2006-2008 definitely had a major shift in technology. Facebook + improvements in mobile technology (which I want to say was in the 07/08 timeframe for iPhone1) stripped our last bit of unassumed privacy. I can completely see how attending school, especially post adolescence, is completely different from the “freedom” I had in the 90’s.

Yeah, because shoving that stuff in front of a kid’s face is such a good thing.
