there really are not many of these 6pax holders seen on the beaches and in the water because the plastic is designed to be degradable by strong sunlight. the ingredient is very small amounts of carbon monoxide blended into the polyethylene plastic. with sunlit the poly unzips and crumbles

Thanks for sharing this information. I wonder if this is why now microplastics seem to be the problem du jour in the oceans (along with micro beads in body washes)?

They probably tested in a field. They should have tested in the ocean.
