It is coming. All a big house of cards, any of which could fall at any time. 99% of people have no clue

It's 6-8 years away. Might as well stock up on ammo now.

As if electing a reality television star as President wasn't a sign?

The last two were a community organizer and a reality star.

The president ain't the problem, it's the fricked up population that's dumb enough to have any faith in government to begin with

If you're 45 or younger I am plenty old enough to be your daddy and take some fatherly advice .... everything comes to an end, but we ain't coming to an end like this or this quickly.

Not as long as we have our Constitution and we remain a nation of laws.

No one beats U.S. businessmen or U.S. money men if their hands are not tied behind their backs.

Trump is saving us in that regard and making moves that will last past the next twenty or thirty years.

Our strength as a country is that we have always remained fairly flexible compared to the rest of the world, able to adjust. Able to overcome setbacks. Some call it the swinging of the pendulum but whatever it is never underestimate the power of the good people in this country.

I had a battalion commander one time that had a saying. "Only the flexible survive." Those are words to remember.

As a country we are, by far, the most flexible in the world in part because of our people, our natural resources and our capitalist society all rolled into one. It's a tough combination to beat.

There is not another like us in the world.

I have found myself worrying about this as of late. I wonder if it's because I'm just a worrier and getting older, or if you're correct and I'm in the 99% when it comes to understanding.

So if the dollar is going to plummet, then we'll all be around equal standing if everything becomes worthless. What happens to mortgages? Will people really riot in the street? Haven't people always worried that the 'end is near?'

the living Constitution
quote:

the Living Constitution (or loose constructionism) is the claim that the Constitution has a dynamic meaning or it has the properties of an animate being in the sense that it changes. The idea is associated with views that contemporaneous society should be taken into account when interpreting key constitutional phrases.

While the arguments for the Living Constitution vary, they can generally be broken into two categories. First, the pragmatist view contends that interpreting the Constitution in accordance with its original meaning or intent is sometimes unacceptable as a policy matter, and thus that an evolving interpretation is necessary.[citation needed] The second, relating to intent, contends that the constitutional framers specifically wrote the Constitution in broad and flexible terms to create such a dynamic, "living" document.

That reality television star was only a reality television star because he was already ridiculously successful with his own brand.

Now, if we elected Snooki or Omarosa you would be correct.

I'm not saying it is impossible, but another 1929-type crash seems highly unlikely.
