Just seem to always have conflicts when scheduling last minute meetings. Also have various meeting blocks on their calendars with generic subjects. Note, these are a couple low level type people (entry to level II) that would typically wouldn’t have a whole lot going on calendar wise.

I’d hope you’d be honest and tell them that and get back to us with their decision.

I'm currently co-running a startup from my office at my day job. For the past month I'm averaging more time on my own business.

Hate the game not the player.

Are they not getting their primary job done?

THIS. If thier primary work is being done, what does it matter what you do with your extra time. In a traditional office setting, this time would be spent bs'ing in the office, whereas at home time could be spent making extra money. 2 full time jobs is nearly impossible. But a full and a part time/contract work is easily doable.
I have been working from home for the past 4 years. I recently just started a second job from home on a contract/part time basis. My primary employer is totally fine with anything done on our free time. In fact, a co-worker has 2 additional jobs. And while we are slow I am exploring adding an additional job also. I would NEVER want to park my arse in a chair at a traditional office setting again. I enjoy my freedoms.
