Why do you equate thinking something is comical with giddy as hell?

I'm so confused at how you're making that connection.

I think Louis C.K. is comical, but I'm not overcome with sensation to the point that I'm lightheaded and dizzy when I watch his shows.

You understand there's a difference there, right?

It indicates that unlike Odesseus, I don't look at suffering in any of your groups as being comical nor do I feel any hatred for them.

In fact I don't even get into your grouping thig just because it is a way people hate others. As individuals we haven't done anything to deserve those reactions.

It doesn’t indicate anything other than your incoherent rumblings because it doesn’t make any sense

Not interested in your playing with words.

Equity = assets- liabilities

If the value of you asset decreases, your equity decreases. Pretty simple baw

Can't keep up huh? Nothing of substance to add, huh? Nothing new. If you can't say anything useful just continue to do what you do best, deflect and call names.

But paw paw??? You gotta do better. I been a paw paw for 20 years. I'll be a Great paw paw before 2026.

a huge portion of the population hasn’t saved enough for retirement and thinks they are going to sell their houses when it’s time to pay for assisted living, and those people are in for a bit of a rude awakening.

Thought that’s what BlackRock was for. You really think no one will buy their houses? Sounds like your wishcasting. The assisted living facility will probably take their home first anyway.

Your opinion ... which I value very little to not at all.

So I'll just keep on rumbling and you can go make useless comments to someone that cares. Deal?

We aren’t talking about market trends, we are talking about these specific examples of particularly Boomers pricing their homes WELL above market value, many of which do so because they need the money.

Nice strawman. No, I'm not saying no one will buy their houses; I'm saying that no one will buy their houses at the sale value they think they will get. And already own my home, so no need for me to wishcast

If you book your asset above market value and then can’t sell it for that, you’ve lost equity when you write the value of the asset down. Simple, simple stuff.

Net worth may be a better term here than equity, but it’s an extremely concept to understand. So much so, that I think you’re just trying to play a gotcha that doesn’t work

It’s an extremely easy concept to understand in the context of the situation. Are you stupid or dense? Based on your posting history, it very likely could be both

And Odesseus will find that comical as hell .... or be pissed off at them. I'm not sure which. He isn't either.

Either way he gets to do some hating on his elders.

Where did respect for the elders go?
