Ok Tks. Was trying to see if anyone had updated info around autumn view subdivision right before 44. Homes in back took on water this morning but was curious about people in front.
Good luck in your current area

I think I can help you with the American Airlines issue if you haven't figured it out yet, hit me up on FB. My sisters best friend since she was 3 years old, who is like my sister, is high up over there.

Highland Dr. Off 74 next to Harvest Supermarket
Got some good friends who live way at the back of Highland Drive there. The water got real close to their house yesterday and has receded some today. Hope that back flow doesn't push in on y'all...or me. I'm up Bluff Rd. near Old Perkins...

This was Bayou Fountain at Bluebonnet at 2:25. Water was flowing in the right direction, albeit slowly.
Bayou Fountain doesn't have much further to cause big problems...

All I know about that area is the water is rising, they're about to cut the power to the area and there was a double murder suicide
Other than that, doing okay

Do you foresee the water going all the way to 74 and Bluff intersection?

That's right, immediately south of Old Mill. Water has continued to recede. Most of the streets are dry. Some low parts of the streets where the drains are still have a little water. But it's out of everyone's driveway for now.

I have a bad feeling it's gonna swell over its banks tonight and get us

You can watch the traffic cam at I-10 and bluff road on DOTD
This is bayou manchac passing over I-10. It's been slowly rising over the last 2 hours and will shut down I-10. This will continue to backflow up bayou manchac and is a good way to monitor the backflow. Check it out.
If someone can give me a quick way to post pics from phone I will

Well than you should be safe at least. Don't worry too much, you have a means of escaping rising water, and the essentials to stay alive and healthy. Unless you have somewhere specific to go, I would say just stay there. Most places are in as bad or worse shape right now.
And I'm sorry to hear about your house. There are thousands of homeless people after this weekend

This is the creek on S Sherwood Forest near Starbucks. How much further is this expected to rise?

Yeah bud that's what they said. No pics sent to me though.
Yeah the water was up high on the back of the street yesterday but had started to drain back. Praying it stays that way

That's strange. Not sure how some in old mill are getting water while it is receding in rivergate. Trying to remember the drainage from a few years ago.
If it is draining in Rivergate I would say Old Mill is fine. Assuming the 74 doesn't get over topped fro. Whatever is happening in Spanish Lake. The Gonzales area seems to be draining through right now
