The Great Courses Plus and other similar learning sites

PornHub, YouPorn, XXXVideos......all pretty good learning sites.

The content is good, but much of it is dated. Think of it kind of like a big collection of PBS programming, only it’s lectures.

Now, you get more info from these lectures than you can from a documentary. The lectures equate to what you might get in an undergrad class lecture.

Is it worth it? Depends. Unless you have a wide spectrum of content you need to learn, it might get a little old pretty fast. Ask yourself: did I REALLY like school? If the answer is yes, then you might like the Great Courses. I like it, but I work in academia, and sometimes I need refreshers on tons of topics. It helps me.

I think they’re great. Sometimes they’re dry. It really depends on the professor. But I’ve learned a lot about topics I never would have any other way. A lot of the topics are random.
