This may be harsh to say even though it's the truth, but for some of them, it's a welfare thing. Many know dems give them handouts in exchange for votes, Republicans don't really do that. Some see welfare as a form of reparations and that it's their right to receive them, which is crazy.

Sadly, I've been exposed to this line of thought way too often in Baton Rouge when I was in the dope game. Some of the things I heard and saw were disgusting.

Anyways, that's the big reason why many poor blacks vote for dems. They don't care that it's holding their community back bc it's "free money".
