And they have not been proven right. But precedent favors me.

In 1991 Baton Rouge generated more sales tax for operations than unincorporated areas. Cortana Mall was still thriving, Bon Marche Mall still had Montgomery Wards keep it from sinking all the way, 2-Target stores which are outside the city limits was not here, Siegen Lane was a two lane road, the Major Movie theaters were all inside the city limits, and city sales tax was good.

Should I assume everything positive regarding the proposed city and school district (two completely separate entities) is bull shite? The school system projects a surplus because there aren't any schools in the area. A place with roughly the same amount of residents as BR has one high school and a handful of middle and elementary schools. Does this not make sense?

Bro I get it. You don't live in st George and are concerned because the subsidies from outside will stop if this goes through.

Ding, Ding, Ding.... We have the race card.

Bro this is where you need to focus. The poor kids being raised by people who aren't focused on what's best for their little ones. Before you call me names for that statement, understand that I am close with several br teachers. There is no discipline or home training in a significant percentage of the students. The apathy of the parents of the bad apples stops the others from being taught due to distractions.

I firmly believe thatkids to a point are innocent. The problem is I can only raise my two babies. I can't force other parents to be basically decent people.

When it comes to mine I will fight for them and their future. I won't be shamed because I want what's best for my little ones.

If by "roughly the same" you really mean "fewer than half" then you have a point.

Nothing you post can be taken seriously after that comment.

When it comes down to it LSURussian is only capable of pulling bullshite out of his arse when he should pull his head out.
He claims to have proven something on the Poli board but that is a lie.
He will resort to name calling and race baiting when his lack of ability to debate the issue with facts and evidence is pushed - you will never get that link. This has been his MO all along.
He claims to own his own business and he may I don't know but I am almost positive he has something to lose by all of this and is scared to see ST. George come to life. He will prove me right by his response or lack thereof to this post but he is desperate and ignorant. I wouldn't waste my time discussing adult issues with such a little person.

Am I off? You may be right. I was basing my statement on the school enrollment numbers. I saw somewhere it was 47% - 53% with unincorporated areabeing lower.

I know br hhas more people than Zachary, central, and St George combined. I've already done the math on that.

I know the link isn't coming. I wasttrying to prove a point. He never responded to my repeated requests. He jumps from point to point ignoring when he's been shut down.

He seems to be a very alinnsky-esque guy. His lib buddies will be proud.

I'm off to celebrate my dad's 73rd birthday and have to go. Rock on fellows!

I proved the proposed budget of SG is a little more than half what the budgets are of other cities in EBR on a per capita basis.

What have you proven? Seriously, what facts have you presented? You quote a line from a 500+ page budget document with ZERO knowledge what that one line means. Pretty useless information.

Because he points out inconvenient facts about the St. George incorporation?

What requests? I can't take anyone seriously who claims to make a point by claiming 107,000 is "roughly the same" as 230,000.

Tell your dad happy birthday for me and also his son is an idiot.

Because he likes to pull out the race card. All people outside of the incorporated BR is racist. Didn't you know?

My question is, "What are the leaders of the city of Baton Rouge afraid of?" If the facts support your position, present them and let the people decide. Don't use scare tactics, threats and the race card. Use facts. Unless you don't have them on your side.

Never claimed anything so I have nothing to prove.
But you have claimed the budget is way off, that the leaders of the effort are lying, that it is all based on race, that everyone you disagrees with you is an idiot, that all the supporters of the St. George effort are racist.
Yet you have failed to prove anything other than you are a whiny bitch that can not support your allegations.
