The tent wouldnt have still been standing if it was an avlanche...another point was that the tent was cut from the inside out suggesting that something was inside the tent

Strange details that sort of negate most theories

Right. It was suggested a small avalanche may have chased them out but it doesn't make sense. An avalanche didn't kill them either, because most died of hypothermia.

Oh God! As if there were gods in heaven or hell that could describe such horrors that had beset upon us...
They were ghastly behemoths seemingly composed of the very frigid air, abominable beasts of snow and ice and fractal liquid crystal, shimmering in the moonlight.
But their eyes...blacker than the deepest oily pools that we had come so far north to investigate, glaring with a malevolence that tore into the very souls of us...gnashing what little senses were left to us and filling us to the brim with hopeless despair.
Igor they fell upon first, crushing and breaking him as if he were kindling for a campfire, the wet thwock-ing of his bones and skull as they set upon him, his eyes becoming bursting grapes, staring blankly before popping in a mist of jelly...

The injuries were too precise to be an avalanche imo...i could see one becoming delusional from hypothermia and killing everyone...but you would think 8 ppl could overpower 1 person

Maybe im wrong but the hikers bodies may have had more radiation in them than you would get with normal background radiation levels...not sure if im remembering that correctly though
Nvm hails video talks about it

Zinaida was next, the pale golems bringing heavy feet down upon his frail composure, the sickening shwithck of his fracturing ribs echoing over the icy tundra...
His dying gasps a mysterious

For those saying it was an avalanche, how do you explain that all of the hikers had broken bones on the inside, as if hit by an extremely powerful object, but literally nothing around them (like trees) showed any signs of being hit as well?

From the wiki it says they fell into a ravine.

I'm sticking by my prediction that the hikers were victims of soviet weapons testing.

A couple of them did...but i tend to agree with hails theory

I can't remember where I found this, but the more "convincing" avalanche theory suggested that some of the hikers may have fallen into a ravine. I read that a couple of years ago so I'm foggy on the specifics.

They must of had a bad batch of something.

I would think they would've had external wounds if the had fallen in.
