This is why we have survival of the fittest. Holy shite.

While a grizzly is more likely to kill you dead if it does attack, there are way more black bear attacks than griz attacks, esp in lower 48. For one, only a relatively small portion of MT and WY (with occasiinal ID sightinga) holds the lower-48's entire brown bear population. Black bears are all over.

And black bears do shite like steal sleeping kids from tents and drag them off and eat them.
