Depp is a controlling and paranoid man who was definitely wronged at some point in his life. He has trauma. His substance abuse enhances these controlling, paranoid behaviors.
Heard was a cheating, lying, vengeful person. Who was not afraid to get physical.

Some witnesses just have to do it their way. Some are too dumb to coach. Some are too stubborn.
It is at least possible that the defense made a deliberate decision to under coach her. In other words, the alternative to a sloppy direct is one that is so smooth it seems delivered by an actress who is acting.

No idea. But it’s going to be a win for Depp regardless. Heard has failed to really prove any physical abuse and she has been exposed as a maniac.

he got called a domestic abuser in the 'paper of record for Hollywood'... and it cost him basically his life & career
he probably doesn't care about getting a dime off of her... he just wanted a chance to say it was at best mutual combat on her part and at worst she was the abuser
will it allow him to get some semblance of a career back in Hollywood? not sure... but it should at least give him a fighting chance if he wants it

At the least, showing it was mutual or that she was the abuser should entitle him to actual damages.

Exactly. This is about getting evidence showing her craziness on record. And to show the world Heard’s lack of evidence regarding physical abuse.
Him going down as a having a toxic relationship with no real evidence to support he committed physical abuse is better than where he was before the trial. That’s what all this is about.

It’s been such an eye opening experience seeing that the legend Johnny Depp and his girlfriend essentially acted just like the worst stereotypes of a trailer park.
